♥Back 2 School: Fashion♥

Hi everyone,
I am back today with my tips on back to school fashion! I know a lot of people ,ALL around the world, can wear their own clothes to school but there are also others who are obliged to wear a uniform, sadly, including me. :(

I also know that a lot of people struggle with what to wear for their first day back in school or what to wear all week! There are many people who like to either dress up or dress down for school which is why I made a combination of both to suit everyone's needs.

Monday (Cute and Girly)
So, I thought this outfit would be perfect for the typical girly girl who also likes to dress casually! I LOVE the dress and I think that's what basically makes the outfit!

 Hi White Converse

Tuesday (Comfy and Casual)

This is my personal favourite because I'm the type of person who likes to ALWAYS dress comfy and casual! I basically live in hoodies! Although I love my Mickey, I have to say the "Doc Marten" lookalikes are pretty sick.

Wednesday (Bright and Colourful)

Even though I love my hoodies, I like to dress up sometimes and go all formal and stylish. The main focus of this outfit is the playsuit and I just think it will look good on everyone!

Thursday (Effortless and Chic)

This is an example of how you can take a basic item, that most people would have in their closets, and turn it into a stylish and a chic outfit. My advice is to pair a bright and an eye-catching pair of shorts or a skirt with a plain and simple top.

Converse: Low White Converse

Friday (Everyday Casual)

This outfit is for the "girl next door"! It's comfy and it gives you a cute, innocent look.

♥Back 2 School: Study Tips & Tricks♥

Hey guys!

Today, I am here to help you guys out with your studying! Appealing, right? Anyways, I know how it feels to be stressed out after every school day due to the bundles of homework, tests, etc. and towards finals week, the pimples make a comeback. I also know that sometimes I used to find it hard to study until I learnt some of these tips and tricks by my sisters and friends.

1. Pay Attention
Trust me, this will be hard. Even if you're teacher is rambling on and on about a boring topic, PAY ATTENTION. This will help you understand the topic and maybe even the subject! This will also help you with your studying because the first step to studying is to understand.

2. Take Notes
Some people learn better by reading their notes over and over again. By taking down notes, you are also taking in the information into your brain. It will also help you when you have either a test or a final on the topic, you will have your own notes that you can go back to and revise whenever you want. You may also take down some notes that are not in your textbooks but may be in your tests.

3. Highlight
This is ESSENTIAL for me. Highlight the important parts and don't go overboard with it! Studies show that students study better with coloured pages rather than a dull and basic piece of paper, so all my students out there, get your highlighters!

4. Take Breaks
A lot of people study continuously and go endless nights without sleep. GIVE YOUR BRAIN A REST. Let your brain sink in the information. You're brain does get tired and studies show that those who get at least 8 hours of sleep, do better in tests because their brain is well rested and all the information has sunken in.

5. Ask Questions
I know I struggled with confidence and self esteem in school which resulted to me being shy and secretive. I barely spoke but this changed when I realised I was doing HORRIBLY in many different subjects. I also realised that those subjects were the ones where I NEVER asked questions and I barely spoke to the teacher. When you ask questions, the teacher will be able to help you with your problem instead of you sitting there in confusion. You will understand the topic/subject and maybe someone else was thinking the same thing.

6. Good Relationships
Communicate with your teacher. Try to build a good relationship with her/him as you will then build up the confidence to ask questions. I also noticed that A LOT of people who like or have a good relationship with their teachers do well in the subject that that particular teacher is teaching.

7. Organisation
This basically means organising your life. Organise and clean your studying space because you won't feel claustrophobic or clustered. Also, find a studying space and commit to it because you will get used to your surroundings in that particular space. Step two, organise your schedule. Commit to a particular hour or two everyday and dedicate it to only studying!

8. Learning Type
Find out your learning type. This will help you study better and faster. There are 3 learning types: visual, auditory and kinesthetic. If you study better by listening to notes, you are an auditory learner. If you study better by seeing diagrams or reading your notes, you are a visual learner and lastly, if you study better by moving and acting, you are a kinesthetic learner.

I hope these tips help you with your studying and you will do well in your future exams and tests, blah blah blah. Come back tomorrow for my next post in my "Back 2 School" series. Comment down below any other tips you have that have helped you with your studying! ♥

♥ Back 2 School Beauty ♥

So...here we are again. We, my friends, are all going back to school whether we like it or not. This is a depressing and miserable time for us all. I know how you feel BUT I am here to bring you my "Back 2 School" guide to give you my tips and tricks on getting back into the swing of things. This will be a three day series which means I will be posting a new blog post everyday for 3 days and they will include different topics such as beauty, fashion, etc.

Today, I will be discussing "Beauty". Now, I've seen a lot of makeup disasters when I was in school. These range from orange foundation lines to sharpie eyebrows. Trust me, girl, that is NOT the look you want to go for. So this is what I'm here for.

1. First, we want to start off by applying some BB cream. Now, I recommend the "Garnier Miracle Skin Cream". It is a colour adjusting cream with a light to medium coverage.

2. If you have dark circles, which I am pretty sure you will after those endless nights of no sleep, add a little more BB cream under your eyes. Next, we are going to skip onto powder. I LOVE the "Stay Matte" by Rimmel. It's cheap and it mattifies your face!

3. We all want some colour to our face so, I would apply either a blush or a bronzer. If you choose to apply blush, I would recommend Sleek's "Rose Gold". It is a natural peachy colour and the shimmer in it gives you a nice highlight! For bronzer, I would use Bourjois' "Delice de Poudre".

4. For the lips, I would just apply a lip balm. I normally use Nivea's "Lip Butter" or just the plain and simple Vaseline.

5. To avoid the Sharpie look, just apply a tinted eyebrow gel to give you a natural finish. I recommend the "Master Sleek Brow Mascara" by Maybelline.

6. I like to keep my eyes nice and simple so I would just apply white eye shadow on my inner corners and some mascara. I use the "Rocket Volum' Express" by Maybelline and Rimmel's eye shadow in "Glam Ice"

So, that is my back to school look to prevent you from getting the "Oompa Loompa" look. Come back tomorrow for my next "Back 2 School" post and remember less is more. ♥ Comment one thing that makes you excited about going back to school.♥  Prices listed below.
